A short contact tow loop for emergency towing.
Designed for situations where you need to quickly move a distressed paddler away from a hazardous position.
The line attaches from the bow of the distressed kayak diagonally across the deck of the rescue kayak. This pulls the distressed kayak alongside the rescuer, making it possible to paddle both kayaks clear of the danger zone. The quick-release handle sits conveniently in front of the cockpit, so you can release the towed kayak instantly if needed to avoid both kayaks capsizing.

Rafting up
To create a stabilised raft of two kayaks, run the tow loop across both decks and clip to the outer deck lines on each kayak. This creates a stable platform and prevents capsizing. -
Kayak leash
The line can also be used to keep your kayak tethered to you when landing on rocks or boarding a vessel at sea.
