The NRS Crux is built around 4-layer Eclipse™ fabric — a genuinely breathable waterproof material that stands up to hard use. The outer microfiber shell resists puncture and abrasion, while the Nanosphere® DWR finish keeps water beading off the surface. You stay dry, and unlike cheaper drysuits, you don’t overheat as quickly on the move.
Entry is via a cross-chest YKK® Aquaseal® waterproof zipper — a traditional placement that’s reliable and easy to manage on your own. A hook-and-loop sealed flap covers the zipper for an extra layer of protection.
At the neck and wrists, volcano-style Glideskin™ neoprene overcuffs protect the latex gaskets underneath — extending gasket life significantly and keeping them out of harm’s way when you’re getting in and out of the suit. The neoprene overskirt has a wide double-pull hook-and-loop closure that fits over your sprayskirt tunnel to complete a watertight seal around the cockpit.
The Paddler’s Cut™ gives enough room for movement without excess material bunching around the shoulders and arms. Seams are placed to minimise wear during walking, and the seat and legs are reinforced with an extra layer of Eclipse fabric.
