Outlife Foam Blocks are a bowl-shaped transport cradle and padding designed to sit between your kayak and the roof rack crossbars. No tools needed, and they’re quick to fit: press the foam blocks onto the bars, lift the kayak into place, then secure it with a strap at the front and one at the rear. Once you’ve unloaded, the blocks lift off just as easily.
The internal channel is shaped so the load transfers from the roof rack all the way out to the edges of the foam block. That spreads the pressure evenly across the full 12 cm width.
With the transport cradle, the kayak is normally carried upright, hull down. Used together with Outlife High Loaders, the kayak can also be carried on its side to make room for more kayaks on the roof rack.
