Description
Fine Adjustment Screw (Barrel Lock Adjuster) for Rudder Lines.
With a fine adjustment screw, you can adjust the length of your rudder line. Let the screw serve as the link between two lines, allowing you to easily tighten the line to the desired position by turning it. It can also be used in the cockpit as a link between the rudder line and the cable.
Common uses for a fine adjustment screw:
- Adjust the rudder to ensure it is straight by turning it on one side or the other.
- Bring the toe pedals closer to the paddler by tightening both screws. This way, the paddler can customize the position of the pedals to their preference.
- Create an adjustable link between the underlying rudder and the trailing rudder on, for example, surfskis, where the lines need to be fully tensioned for optimal performance.
The adjustment screw provides a 3cm adjustment range.
