Description
The SmartTrack Original Rudder Head is a very strong and popular aluminum rudder head. It is standard on a variety of kayak brands.
The rudder is easy to lift up, and if you happen to paddle over a rock, it springs back immediately once the obstacle has been passed. The rudder pin is equipped with a bayonet fitting, ensuring that you can always rely on the rudder staying in place. Thanks to the strength and stability of the rudder head, it maintains maximum rudder effectiveness even in strong lateral weather conditions.
The rudder head can be combined with two different sizes of rudder blades, with the SmartTrack Tandem (item number ST931) being the standard for sea kayaks.
The rudder head is delivered with the Cable Lock kit CRW (item number ST940) and a rudder lifting kit (item number ST-K900).
Specifications
- The distance from the center of the sleeve to the transom must be at least 32mm.
- The rudder head extends 119mm down from its mounting point.
