A traditional wooden Greenland paddle for touring and rolling that takes you back to the origins of kayaking.

This model is based on a traditional paddle from East Greenland. The paddle features a diamond-shaped cross-section and lacks shoulders at the transition between the shaft and the blade. The tips of this model are reinforced with epoxy and are self-luminous in the dark.

The diamond shape allows for a natural edge position of the paddle, which helps achieve a proper paddle entry. The smooth transition between the shaft and blade facilitates hand movement along the paddle during rolling.

ISIGAA is made from Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata), a lightweight and beautiful wood. The shafts have pine inserts to make them stiffer. The paddles are treated with Chinese tung oil to protect the wood and provide a pleasant and secure grip surface.

Paddling with a Greenland paddle is gentle on the muscles and joints. The long, narrow blade glides easily and quietly through the water and is also not sensitive to wind.
