As a touring paddler, you spend long periods in your kayak and need a jacket that provides excellent protection against the elements. The NRS Orion has been designed to be the optimal paddle jacket for just this purpose. It is made from a durable 4-layer material that breathes incredibly well.
A hood and a substantial collar ensure that you can stay dry and warm regardless of the conditions. The collar opens with a diagonal zipper, making it easy to fold down when not needed. On the inside, the collar is fleece-lined, and at mouth level, it is perforated to reduce the risk of fogging on glasses and sunglasses.
A soft cuff at the neck keeps water out, whether it's rain or waves washing over you. The wrists feature latex cuffs with a protective neoprene cover that ensures water cannot enter the sleeves.
The waist tunnel, combined with a cockpit cover, ensures that even in tough conditions, water cannot enter the cockpit. This means you don’t have to worry about water running into the cockpit.
A large front pocket (kangaroo pocket) allows you to warm your hands on cold days. There are pockets on the sleeves for storing items you want to keep close at hand.
