The Outlife Sleek is a solid all-round touring paddle that suits both new and experienced paddlers. The shaft is made from carbon fibre, with blades in fibreglass-reinforced nylon. At just 850 g, it feels easy on wrists and shoulders on longer days.
The shaft offers 15 cm of length adjustment and lets you set the feather angle freely. That makes it easy to tune the paddle to your technique and to the width of your kayak — and it’s also a practical choice if the paddle will be shared between paddlers of different heights.
The blade has a small drip feature to help keep water running away from your hands, and if you’re still getting drips, the paddle comes with drip rings fitted on the shaft. For simpler transport and storage, the Sleek splits into two pieces.
It’s a well-proven paddle that many touring paddlers come back to for its straightforward feel and dependable build.
