A kayak hoist is a practical solution if you want to load your kayak onto the car roof on your own — right at home in the garage or under a carport. The low-friction pulleys create a mechanical advantage, so you’re not taking the full weight in your arms. A friction lock takes the strain while you hoist up or lower down, and helps prevent anything slipping if you need to pause mid-lift.
The hooks are rubber-coated to reduce the risk of scratches where they contact your kayak or board. When lifting a kayak, you attach the hooks to the included straps, wrapped securely around the hull.
Mounting screws are included.
