The FXr from Palm Equipment is designed for demanding river use, where comfort, freedom of movement, and dependable hardware matter. It sits close without feeling restrictive, and the detailing is clearly made for paddlers who spend time in real current.
The shoulder straps are built to handle high loads, and the waist belt helps keep the buoyancy where it should be — even when you’re in the water. A large chest pocket gives you space for the kit you want close at hand. The buckles are aluminium, chosen for strength when it counts.
The FXr is fitted with a UCLan rescue harness with a quick release. On the back you’ll find an “APC easy catch O-ring” (metal ring) connected to the quick release for throwline-assisted rescue. It also works well for towing when you’re out on longer touring trips.
