The Vantage from Palm Equipment is a women’s paddle jacket with a simple, comfortable waist — designed to be easy to put on and take off while you’re on the water. It’s the kind of layer you keep close at hand on a trip, but it works just as well for a walk along the shore when you’re off the kayak.
The fabric is a supple, breathable 2.5-layer XP material that packs down small and disappears into your kit bag. Adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs help seal out splashes, and the hem can be cinched with an elastic drawcord to keep draughts and spray where they belong — outside.
Reflective details help you stay visible in low light. On the front you’ll find a full-width, fleece-lined kangaroo pocket with side openings — ideal for warming hands between launches or during a quick break. There’s also a separate pocket with a waterproof zip for small essentials you want to keep protected.
