Anyone who’s paddled through a bright summer day knows how hard the sun can be on the water. When you’re out for longer stretches, a standard cap often isn’t enough. That’s exactly what Vaikobi Ocean Performance had in mind with this practical hat.
The brim is stiff at the front, so it holds its shape and stays out of your line of sight. The underside is black to help cut down glare reflecting off the water.
At the back, a Velcro adjustment lets you fine-tune the fit to your head. A neoprene chin strap helps keep the hat secure, even when the wind picks up.
There’s also a removable neck shade to protect the back of your neck—something many paddlers notice quickly on long touring days.
