A thermal paddling set designed to keep you warm and moving freely on the water.
The VCold Flex set pairs a long-sleeve top with matching pants, both built from Vaikobi’s Airprene neoprene with a plush pile inner liner. The combination keeps you warm in cold conditions while allowing far more stretch and freedom of movement than conventional neoprene.
The top has a scooped neck and cut-away arm holes — a design deliberately stripped back to avoid any restriction through the shoulders during the paddle stroke. It fits close to the body to retain warmth under a PFD.
The pants are built around a 3D paddle cut: high back and low front waist, shaped for sitting in a kayak rather than standing on land. The Airprene seat pad is seamless to avoid pressure points during long sessions, and fine fleece lining throughout keeps the warmth without adding bulk. An anti-chafe waistband completes a design clearly put together by people who actually paddle long distances.
Paddlespot Tip: The VCold Flex works well as a standalone thermal layer in milder cold (from around 5°C upwards), or as a base layer under a drysuit in more demanding conditions.
