A paddle holder is of great use when you want to get into the kayak with the help of stirrups and paddle float.
With the paddle holder, the paddle can be attached to the kayak, making the kayak much more stable when a paddle float is used for self-rescue. Without a paddle holder, the paddle is pushed under the lines on the stern deck. However, there it lies loosely and can slide back and forth when re-entering. With the paddle holder, however, the paddle is fixed to the kayak.
The paddle holder can be mounted in two ways: either on a deck line or with a through screw directly on the stern deck.
