Description
A tow line for assisting another paddler—ideal when you’re out with less experienced paddlers or children who may not have the energy to paddle the full distance on their own.
The tow line is designed to sit around the rescuer’s waist, with an adjustable waist belt made from strong webbing.
The line is yellow and floats, making it easier to handle and retrieve on the water. At the end there’s a robust hook so you can quickly clip onto the kayak you’re towing. The rope is connected via a black elastic shock cord, helping to smooth out the load and reduce sudden jerks in waves.
When not in use, the line packs into a Cordura bag with mesh drainage. The bag also features reflective details for added visibility.
Paddlespot Tip: Practise clipping on and towing in calm water first. A well-set waist belt and a smooth, steady pace make towing safer and less tiring for both paddlers.
