Description
The SmartTrack Original Rudder Head is made of aluminum and is extremely robust and popular. It is standard with a range of kayak brands.
The rudder is easy to lift up and, if you should paddle over a rock, it will immediately spring back when it passes the obstacle. The rudder shaft is equipped with a bayonet closure so you can always rely on the rudder staying in place. Thanks to the rigidity and stability of the rudder head, maximum rudder power is maintained even in strong crosswinds.
The rudder head can be combined with two different blade sizes, with SmartTrack Tandem (item number ST931) being standard for sea kayaks.
The rudder head is supplied with SmartTrack cable lock CRW (item number ST940) and rudder fold set (item number ST-K900).
Specifications
- The distance from the middle of the sleeve to the stern mirror must not exceed 32 mm.
- The rudder head protrudes 119 mm from its mounting point.
