Description

SmartTrack Ski Blade Housing/Rudder Head, Bottom Mount is a small, lightweight, rugged and popular aluminum rudder head that sits on a variety of kayaks and surfskis with very low sterns.

Thanks to the strength and stability of the rudder head, maximum rudder power is maintained even in harsh weather conditions.

The rudder head protrudes only 5 mm from its mounting point, thus minimizing the risk of braking by not being in the water.

It can be combined with two different blade sizes, with Single ST930 being the most commonly used on training kayaks and surfskis. Tandem (ST931) is the standard for sea kayaks or if you plan to paddle with a surfski/training kayak where the flow is unstructured yet the best possible rudder effect is needed.

Outstanding rowing stroke, gently rebounds when you paddle over an obstacle, and folds easily if you desire this feature.

The rudder head comes with the Cable Lock Kit CRW (ST940) and the Ruderfalt Set ST-K900.

The rudder shaft is fitted with a bayonet lock to prevent the rudder from falling out by itself.
