The suit consists of 3 mm thick neoprene over the torso and 2 mm thick neoprene over arms and legs. This type of neoprene thickness is the most common type and is usually seen as standard with neoprene suits. The reason you have different thicknesses at different parts of the suit is that the thinner neoprene allows for a higher degree of flexibility while the thicker neoprene gives you extra warmth at the body parts that need it.
