The front of the hat features a stiff brim to ensure it does not obstruct your view. The underside is black to reduce the amount of light reflected from the water.
A Velcro adjustment at the back of the hat allows you to customize the size to fit your head. A neoprene chin strap ensures that the hat stays securely in place, even on really windy days.
At the back, there is a removable sunshade. This helps you avoid sunburn on your neck, which is a common issue for many during long paddling trips.
