The frame is made from lightweight materials and features a layer of foam that allows the sunglasses to float if they end up in the water. This model is designed to fit snugly around the face and is best suited for those with a medium to wide face. If you have a narrow face, they may be too wide.
The lenses allow 12% of visible light to pass through (12% VLT), making them darker than most other sunglasses. This makes them incredibly beneficial to wear out on the water, where you are also exposed to the sun's reflections on the surface. The lenses are also polarized, which filters out distracting glare.
The lenses have a hydrophobic outer layer that minimizes distracting water droplets in your line of sight.
