The frame is made of lightweight material and features a foam layer which allows the sunglasses to float when it lands in the water. This model is designed to fit snugly against the face and is best suited for those with a medium to wide face. If you have a narrow face, it is likely to be too wide.
The glasses allow 12% of visible light (12% VLT) through, making them darker than most other sunglasses. This makes them perfect to wear outdoors on the water as you are then also exposed to the sun's reflections in the water. The lenses are also polarized, which helps to reject glare.
The lenses have a hydrophobic coating, which helps to minimize distracting water droplets in the field of view while paddling.
