The DryLight was developed by Kajaksidan to our own specification, and manufactured in Germany by Dry Fashion.
The front zip runs all the way up to the neck, so it’s quick to get in and out of—more like stepping into a standard overall than wrestling with a traditional drysuit.
A tapered neoprene neck seal gives a comfortable, dependable seal, while the bottle-neck shaped latex wrist seals are designed to be easier to pull on and off.
The cut is made for paddling, with generous arm and back length to support full reach and rotation. The suit has breathable membrane socks and an internal chest pocket for car keys, phone, and other small essentials. It feels light and mobile—much like a shell jacket—yet still robust enough for kayaking and similar watersports.
With its high breathability, it’s a trusted choice for fitness paddlers, but it’s just as at home on longer touring days. It also works well for long-distance ice skating, personal watercraft, fishing, and other water-based activities.
When you’re not using it, the suit rolls up easily and packs down small. As with any drysuit, it should always be worn together with a buoyancy aid.
