Experience the traditional origins of kayak paddling with the EastPolePaddles Nanook Greenland Paddle, 220cm!
This model is based on traditional paddles from western Greenland, with an oval cross-section and distinct shoulders at the transition between the shaft and paddle blade. The oval shape of the blades makes them quieter during paddling, while the distinct shoulders provide a natural hand placement. Crafted from Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata), the paddle is lightweight and beautiful, with a pine-reinforced shaft. It is treated with Chinese tung oil for a comfortable and grippable surface.
Paddling with a Greenland paddle is gentle on muscles and joints. The slim blade glides easily and quietly through the water and is not sensitive to wind.
