Which size should you choose?
Choosing the right hatch size isn’t always straightforward. The measurements listed are not the hatch cover’s outer dimensions (even though it’s easy to assume they are) — they’re intended to match the size of the opening on the kayak.
To get the right fit, measure the outside dimensions of your kayak’s hatch rim (the moulded lip the cover stretches over). Measure the longest and the widest points, then use the table below to find the closest match. Measure carefully — some sizes are very close to each other.
