The NRS Crux is a tough but supple drysuit that suits most types of kayaking. Whether you’re settling into long distance touring or heading out for a shorter day paddle, it’s designed to feel dependable and easy to move in. The 4-layer Eclipse™ fabric is built to handle abrasion while still offering excellent breathability, helping to keep condensation and dampness under control as you paddle.
Latex seals at the neck and wrists keep water out when rain sets in or waves start coming over the deck. Over the latex, NRS adds neoprene overcuffs for an extra layer of protection and a bit more security — and to help shield the latex from knocks and UV exposure.
The double waist with spraydeck tunnel, used together with a cockpit spraydeck, helps prevent water from forcing its way into the cockpit even in rougher conditions. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference when you’re paddling in wind and chop.
A waterproof relief zip makes comfort breaks straightforward, and reinforcement over the seat and knees adds extra durability where you tend to wear a suit the hardest.
Paddlespot tip: Keep your latex seals happier for longer by rinsing them in fresh water after saltwater trips, and store the suit out of direct sunlight.
