As a touring paddler, you spend a lot of time in your kayak and need a jacket that offers adequate protection from wind and weather. The NRS Orion Jacket was developed as the optimal paddle jacket for these requirements. It is made of a durable 4-layer material that is particularly breathable.
A hood and a large collar ensure that you stay dry and warm in all conditions. The collar can be opened with a diagonal zipper, so that it can be folded down when not in use. On the inside, the collar is lined with fleece and perforated in the mouth area to prevent fogging of glasses and sunglasses.
A soft neck cuff prevents water from entering, no matter if it's raining or if you're flooded by the waves. The latex wrist cuffs are coated with neoprene so that no water can enter the sleeves.
The inner chimney, in combination with a spray deck, ensures that your cockpit stays dry even in rough conditions. So you don't have to worry about water running into the cockpit.
A continuous pocket on the belly (kangaroo pocket) allows you to keep your hands warm on cold days. The sleeves are equipped with pockets in which you can keep your things within reach.
