This water-resistant top is made to take the edge off wind, spray and light showers. The seams aren’t taped, so it’s not the layer for all-day downpours — but for normal paddling conditions it’s a comfortable, practical reinforcement piece. A thin fleece lining feels good against the skin, even with bare arms underneath. If the weather turns or the chop starts to splash, you can snug the elastic drawcord at the neck, and tighten the cuffs with Velcro for a cleaner seal around the wrists.
Paddlespot Tip: Use it as a flexible outer layer on mild days, or under a paddling jacket when the wind picks up — you’ll get warmth without feeling bulky in the cockpit.
